Esther Tsakane Padi – Deputy Secretary General

Ms. Padi was born and bred in Soweto, Diepkloof and has always been intentional about wanting to improve the state of her community and society at large.

Although she acquired a certificate in Business Entrepreneurship and a Diploma in Office Administration at College Campus, she has always been vocal about being an activist. As a result, she forms an integral part of the management at Innovation Kasi Organisation (IKO) as the Chief Executive Officer. IKO is an NPO that sources local talent, gives artists a platform and educates them on the business element of music. They also provide groceries to 150 families within the community.

Ms. Padi has acquired highly sought-after skills in event planning. This was evident when she was the Chief Event Coordinator at Joe Mafela’s state funeral as well as an Event Manager at the Gauteng Department of Agriculture. She also dabbled in radio production and handled the technicalities at Jozi FM.

Currently, she holds the position of Deputy Secretary General at African Content Movement, a role she prides herself in and views as the perfect opportunity to serve her country and impact lives.
