Romeo Tshililo Ramuada – Secretary General

Mr Ramuada was born in Maelula Village, The Garden of Eden in Vhembe District, Limpopo. He was raised by a single mother who worked tirelessly to raise her children. He also credits his grandmother for raising a strong, diligent leader.

Mr Ramuada discovered his love for music at a very young age. He explored the possibilities of the music industry and founded Rekaofela Music SA. His music and advocacy in the fight against social injustice has always intertwined, hence the release of his four singles, one titled “Struggle of My People”. As a result, he is the current President of The South African Arts & Culture Youth Forum (SAACYF), a Non-Profit Organization established and registered to champion, promote and profile the rich diversity of arts, culture & heritage of young cultural and creative practitioners.

He has previously taken on leadership roles at the University of Limpopo, University of KwaZulu Natal and the University of the Free State. These range from Treasury of University Foundation Year Programme (Unify), General Secretary of Faculty of Science & Agriculture to Founder & Deputy Chairperson of Off Campus students Association, respectively. As the Secretary General at African Content Movement, his motto is: “If you take care of the community, the community will take care of you”.
